3 Day Refresh

I LOVE the 3 Day Refresh! I have done it 3 times now, and each time I have had great results. But most of all, once the 3 days was up I felt recharged and ready to take on the world. I am not going to say it is always easy, but the best part of the 3 day refresh is that you get to eat real food in addition to your shakes, so you don’t feel starving.

What is the 3 Day Refresh?

The 3-Day Refresh is 3-day program of specially formulated shakes, healthy snacks, and delicious, easy-to-prepare meals that have been scientifically designed to help you lose weight and break the cycle of bad eating while dramatically improving the way you feel.

Why should you do a Refresh?

What does a typical day of the 3 Day Refresh look like?

 

This is what a typical 3 day refresh looks like for me. You do get a list for your fruit, veggie, healthy fat and supper options to choose from, so if there is something below that you don’t like you would be able to choose things from the list that you do like.

 

Day 1

Wake-up: You’ll drink 8-12 oz of water.

8 am – Vegan Shakeology blended with Blueberries

10am – Fibre sweep

12pm – Vanilla Fresh shake blended with strawberries

Cucumbers, Hummus

2 pm – Broccoli and 1 1/2 tsp coconut oil

4 pm – Green Tea

6 pm – Green Bean recipe and Vanilla Fresh shake

8pm – Green Tea

Day 2

8 am – Vegan Shakeology blended with Blueberries

Day 3

What should you expect while doing the 3 Day Refresh?

 

  • The 3-Day Refresh is a low-calorie program (about 900 calories a day) but because the shakes and food selections are high in protein and fiber they help sustain you throughout the day.
  • Because this program is packed with fiber, if you don’t already have a diet that’s high in fruits, veggies, and whole grains, it’s a good idea to prepare for the 3-Day Refresh by eating a large salad and/or a few servings of fresh veggies throughout the week leading up to it.
  • If you get a little gas or bloating, this is a sign that you need to up your fiber levels in general. Fiber promotes satiety, balances blood sugar, promotes cardiovascular health, and keeps your digestive tract functioning
  • If gas is an issue, we’ve highlighted the “low gas-producing” options in the veggie list and dinner recipes in the menu guide.
  • We recommend mild to moderate exercise during the 3-Day Refresh because this program will be more effective when your body can focus on cleansing. So don’t do intense exercise during these days, as your body needs to focus on the cleanse.
  • You may experience headaches throughout the 3 days. This is normal. This is your body getting rid of the toxins. Remember to drink lots of water.
  • For best results on the refresh, you will need to give up coffee for the 3 days. If you are going to continue drinking it, at the very least it should be black. But for best results you should give up caffeine altogether for the cleanse.
