

Slow Cooker Turkey Chili Recipe

*If you do not like spicy things I would suggest cutting back a little on the chili powder and red pepper flakes!

1 Red = Turkey meat
1 Green = Diced tomatoes, sauce, peppers, and onion
1 Yellow = Beans and corn
½ Red – Greek yogurt (optional)

Ingredients
1 lb raw 93% lean, ground turkey
1 sweet bell pepper (yellow), chopped
1 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 (15 oz) can whole-kernel corn, drained
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained, rinsed
1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained, rinsed
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce, no salt added
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Sea salt or Himalayan salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1Cook turkey, onion, bell pepper and garlic in medium non-stick skillet over medium heat, stirring frequently, 4-5 minutes, or until turkey browns. Drain if needed.
2Add all ingredients and turkey mixture to the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 hours.
3Optional: Add a dollop of plain greek yogurt and top with green onions before serving.
